When completed Oran Park Town will be home to over 25,000 people living in 8,000 homes all centred on a modern new town centre of over 30 hectares. The town centre will have all amenities expected of a full town centre including:
- Schools
- Oran Park Anglican College (K-12) will open its doors in 2012 (initially for Prep - Year 5)
- A second, public school, (K-12) is expected to open in 2014
- Further provision has been made for another K-12 private / independent school as well as one K-6 public school
- Health facilities
- Civic buildings and spaces
- Extensive shopping
- There will be up to 50,000m2 of retail space in the shopping centre. This will grow to include two supermarkets, specialty shops, food outlets, cafes, restaurants and discount department stores
- Leisure centre
- "Eat streets" with cafes and restaurants
- Parks
- Office spaces
