Customers started camping out in the week leading up to the release to secure one of the first 30 lots at Oran Park Town. All lots were sold first thing on Saturday morning, allowing Oran Park Town's soon to be first residents free to enjoy the family carnival on site which started in the afternoon. It is estimated up to 8000 people visited Oran Park Town over the weekend. The first customers ranged from first home buyers to retirees and they cited a number of reasons for purchasing at Oran Park Town including, affordable price of the land, the chance to live close to the amenities that the new Town Centre will provide, along with Oran Park Town's environmental credentials.
