Greenfields and Landcom have finalised a deal with ANGLICARE Sydney’s Chesalon Living to build a seven hectare Seniors Living community within Oran Park Town.
Mark Perich, Director Greenfields said Seniors Living is an integral part of Oran Park Town where facilities including schools, retail, public spaces and transport will be delivered in the early stages of development.
"At Oran Park Town we want to create a community environment that is relevant to all ages and stages of life.
"Creating a broad spectrum community from young families and first home buyers through to self employed professionals and seniors.
We welcome this deal that will ultimately benefit those seeking high quality Seniors Living and aged care facilities within a well connected and accessible community," said Mr Perich.
Chesalon Living will build a high quality seniors living community consisting of 240 apartments and villas with extensive facilities and 129-bed aged care facility, including both high and low care.
Developed over several stages the seniors’ living community will cater for up to 450 people and the residential aged care facility will accommodate approximately 150 people.
Robert Evers, Director Chesalon Living said the Chesalon Living development complements the whole Oran Park community design principles.
“Seniors living and aged care is an integral part of any successful community development,” said Mr Evers.
Mick Owens, General Manager Landcom said the Chesalon Living facility will play a vital role in servicing the South West’s ageing population.
“The Seniors Living community is strategically positioned within walking distance to the Town Centre and other community facilities that are planned at Oran Park Town.
“Life long learning, education and connectivity to the town centre is a key attraction of Oran Park Town,” said Mr Owens.
Construction of the Chesalon Living at Oran Park Town will commence early 2011.
