A town on
the move

Oran Park is well-connected to a range of convenient transport options that are easily accessible from the town centre.

The NSW Government’s planned Metro Rail is located next to the town centre, just opposite the Podium retail precinct. At this stage, no timings have been announced.

In the meantime, Oran Park residents have access to a range of alternative transport options including reliable bus services and surrounding train stations.

Buses

Oran Park benefits from the advantage of having multiple, consistent and frequent bus routes that provide excellent connectivity.

Currently, Oran Park is supported by NSW Transport Bus routes 840, 841, 850, 858, 894, and 896, covering the entirety of the Oran Park catchment area, including direct routes to Leppington and Campbelltown train stations.

All bus services have the added convenience of commencing from locations within or in close proximity to the Oran Park Town Centre.

Trains

Oran Park is planned to have a Metro Station situated opposite The Podium Shopping Centre. This will interconnect the community with surrounding suburbs, Western Sydney Airport and Sydney.

Western Sydney Airport

Western Sydney Airport (WSI) – also known as Badgerys Creek Airport – is a new international airport currently under construction. Scheduled to open in 2026, the WSI will be a full-service airport delivering international, domestic and freight services.

Promising to be one of the most environmentally sound airports in the southern hemisphere, the WSI will respect the natural environment together with the cultural heritage of the area.
