If you haven't already been for a play we know you'll be chomping at the bit to check out one of Sydney's newest outdoor adventure park combos: the ultra-modern Julia Reserve Youth Precinct and Dawson-Damer Splash Park.
Sydney was abuzz when news broke out that Oran Park was going to receive a whopping $9-million-dollar makeover in 2019 complete with Macarthur’s largest water park and a super cool youth precinct with a skate park, parkour zone, ping-pong tables and more! Both parks are open to the public and garnering a reputation as the coolest new adventure playgrounds in Sydney!
Welcome to your new favourite water park in South West Sydney.
A splash-tastic adventure is on the cards at Dawson-Damer Splash Park. The new water park offers 30 water features including a large dump bucket, water slides, water spinners and more. Dawson-Damer Park is proudly accessible with wheelchairs available to book through Camden Council.
While most of Sydney will no doubt be visiting Dawson-Damer Park for a splash, the new park has so much more than just water play for families. A ninja warrior course, swings, trampolines, basketball facilities, picnic areas, family change rooms and much more are on offer.
Julia Reserve Youth Precinct
Skaters will want to make a beeline for one of Sydney's biggest skate parks.
The ultra-modern and ultra-cool Julia Reserve Youth Precinct is Oran Park's teen central. Julia Reserve Youth Precinct has the largest skate park in South West Sydney catering to beginners right up to elite skaters. Other highlights of Julia Reserve Youth Precinct include:
- A parkour zone
- Basketball court
- Table tennis tables
- Kickabout space
- State of the art Youth and Recreation Building.

Grand Prix Park is one of several other playgrounds in Oran Park.
The sprawling 2.5-hectare Oran Park has new fitness equipment, dog off-leash areas as well as a separate junior and youth play areas. The junior play space includes a hammock swing as well as a toddler swing, in-ground trampoline, climbing net and carousel. Camden's first Ninja Warrior Course is another highlight at Oran Park and will wow kids with its giant pendulum swing, climbing poles, spinning disc, double flying fox, and half basketball court.
